2023 satisfaction barometer : overall user satisfaction on the rise

Overall user satisfaction on the rise

As it has every year since 2013, Paris La Défense conducts an opinion survey to measure your satisfaction and gather the expectations of site users. The results enable the public establishment to identify areas for improvement that will guide its future action. In 2023, 1,922 users of the district - employees, residents, students and business tourists - were questioned by the Viavoice research and polling institute.

User-friendliness, accessibility, cleanliness and the evolution of the district... Paris La Défense wanted to hear the opinions of the people who are the first to be affected : the district's users. Discover the findings of the 2023 survey.

A strong attachment to the area

With 86 % of employees proud to work in Paris La Défense, 93 % of residents proud to live here and 94 % of students proud to study here, attachment to the business district is undeniable ! This feeling is 1 to 4 points higher than in 2022, and is expressed against a backdrop of declining telecommuting.

On average, 11 % of employees (down 5 points) said they teleworked one day a week, while 2 % (down 2 points) said they teleworked four days a week.

8 out of 10 respondents believe that Paris La Défense is a great place to work ! This positive trend can also be seen in the overall perception of the area : 79 % of employees (+2 pts) and 88 % of residents (+10 pts) believe that Paris La Défense has become more user-friendly in recent years.

The area's transformation very well perceived

Paris La Défense has set itself the goal of becoming the world's leading post-carbon business district, and is working daily to transform the area. This transformation has not escaped the notice of the area's users, most of whom perceive the district's commitment to the environment and the actions it has taken. Rates have risen sharply, from 4 to 18 points, with 87 % of residents, 80 % of students, 77 % of employees and 75 % of tourists rating the area as committed.

On the other hand, 3/4 of users consider that the district has changed for the better in recent years, and welcome the real estate developments in the area. This sentiment is also reflected in the desire for new housing, expressed by 83 % of residents. And that's just as well, as ten projects will be delivered this year in various neighborhoods across the region.
